Such a great hole in the wall! Since coming here for the first time, I have not ordered sushi from anywhere else. How they are able to sell such good sushi at the price they do is beyond me but thank you!!!! The family that runs this place is always so sweet and welcoming. Thank you for being a part of the neighborhood!

It's a hole in the wall that you could walk by and never think twice about but I wanted to try something other than BayRidge sushi (which is good too). I rolled the dice and found their food is REALLY good. Tried their ginger scallion shrimp lunch bento and the shrimps were seasoned perfectly. Really flavorful and peppery. California rolls were good. The fried shumai were good but probably premade. The picture was taken after some of it was eaten. Oops. Miso soup (not shown) was great. Very hearty tasting. NOTE: if you're Asian you will prefer shrimps with the shells ON. BUT the downside is you fingers get messy. Unfortunately their bathroom isn't really set up for public use. You can ask for it to be removed but it won't be as tasty. Bring wet wipes.

Best sushi EVER. Unfortunately my wife and I moved to Florida but we used to live just 4 blocks away from this place in Bay Ridge. We ate it about twice a month and not once did they ever disappoint. One time they even gave me free mochi since it was my birthday which was rather kind of them. I haven’t had good sushi since moving to Florida yet but when we do travel to New York, we make sure to go and indulge. Speaking of that, we’ll be there this upcoming Friday and my mouth is already watering. Just look at the beautiful photo! Update: came back after a year and it’s still the best sushi! Talked with the owner for a bit since I hadn’t seen them in so long and they gave me fried cheesecake also!

The best Japanese place in Brooklyn! The owners and staff are so kind and the food is delicious and super fresh. They are also very accommodating for gluten free substitutes and make an effort so there is no cross contamination, amazing for celiacs!

This place is literally a hidden gem. I was skeptical. I had been taken there to celebrate. It may look rough or regular on the outside, but the service is amazing & the food is so much more. During the meal, I was plotting my return. I went back a week later & I don't even live near to it, 30min drive, so I meant plotting. Highly recommend. Will add pics next visit.

This is my go-to sushi spot! I’ve tried all sushi spots around the Bay-Ridge area and no one beats Okinawa for their quality and price point. If you’re hungry and looking for sushi, definitely check out their sale menu and their incredibly affordable lunch menu combo (3 sushi rolls comes with soup and salad!).
